TWOS - For Week of February 1

Master Coders - Great job on the clock... I think? If you're finished, print and submit your code.

Since you do so well on group activities, this week you'll be working together to resurrect the animation formerly at the top of all of the Badin site pages. Chris will lead the effort by virtue of his advanced Photoshop skills. I'll have guidelines for the project in class.

ONES - For Week of February 1

Monday - Last grace day for assignments - through Assignment 5 completed and code printed; anything submitted after today is subject to late policy.

If/when you are finished, browse to this site and begin reading the first 3 topics under "Webmaster Essentials". There will be a quiz on this material on Friday (closed book/closed notes).

Tuesday - Exercise 6. Must be completed, start-to-finish, today in class. This will count as a quiz grade!

Wednesday - We'll have a lab on loops, and then you'll begin Exercise 7.

Thursday - Exercise 7.

Friday - "Google Webmaster Essentials 1" quiz.

Windows 7 Upgrade

Cross-posting from MMS class because a few of you might be interested -

As requested by Jimmy J., here is the link to where I recently purchased two Windows 7 Home Premium upgrades:
http://www.shoparhive.com/Windows-7-Home-Premium-UPGRADE-Retail/product/364E823B

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE PAGE, INCLUDING LINK TO COMPATIBILITY CHECK, BEFORE ORDERING!

Cost at the time (and still is, as of this posting) = $71.95

You get a digital download, and you should know how to burn an .ISO to DVD

Licenses pass Windows Genuine Advantage registration with nary a problem.

(this is the best price I know of - if you find a KNOWN GOOD price that beats this, please post your recommendation in the Comments)

New Year, New Topic!

This week we move from the formats and layouts of HTML, and into server-side interactions--initially with Active Server pages.

Monday and Tuesday, we'll cover the basics. Wednesday and the first half of Thursday, you'll set up your ASP Exercises page and complete your first exercise, found linked from here.

We'll then start working with Time.
