Students enrolled in Programming & Applied Technology at Stephen T. Badin High School learn fundamental programming techniques using current web development software. Many programming languages and utilities are explored to create vibrant, content-filled and user-friendly web sites.

Second-year students concentrate on server-side applications, databases and media-rich content for dynamic sites.

Welcome to Programming & Applied Tech!

This page is the nexus for your Programming & Applied Technology class this semester, you should plan on checking here often for new material. Here's what is planned for our first week together:
  • Your seating assignment
  • Fire drill procedures
  • Meet "BecomeTheBest.com"
  • Class rules and expectations; required materials; information to include on all submissions.
  • Badin's "Responsible Use of Technology" Policy reviewed with students--Signed forms must be returned by August 28 or there will be a penalty
  • How to log into your computer and onto Badin's server
  • Introduction to class programs & processes, including:
    • "ONES" and "TWOS"
    • Your Notebook
    • Firefox (link for free program download)
    • Internet Explorer
    • Notepad?!?!
